1. INTRODUCTION
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of facilities and services at The Sama Wellness (“the Wellness Centre”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) located in Singapore.
By accessing or using our facilities, booking services, or purchasing packages or memberships, you (“Guest”, “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE
2.1 Applicable Laws
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore, including:
- Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA)
- Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA)
- Applicable health, safety, and public facility regulations
2.2 Fair Consumer Practices
The Wellness Centre adopts fair trading practices, including:
- Transparent pricing with no hidden charges
- Clear cancellation and refund policies
- Proper handling of prepaid packages and memberships
3. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCESS
- Guests must be at least 18 years old unless accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Management reserves the right to refuse entry or service without liability
- Guests must comply with all rules, policies, and staff instructions
Access may be suspended or terminated if:
- Safety rules are breached
- Behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful
4. HEALTH DECLARATION AND MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
4.1 Assumption of Risk
All wellness, fitness, spa, and bathhouse activities involve inherent risks. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
4.2 Medical Disclosure
Guests must disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to participation, including:
- Cardiovascular conditions
- Pregnancy
- Recent surgery or injury
- Chronic illnesses
4.3 Limitation of Medical Responsibility
The Wellness Centre is not a licensed medical provider unless otherwise stated. We do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
We are not liable for:
- Injuries, medical complications, or adverse reactions
- Any consequences arising from undisclosed medical conditions
5. BOOKINGS, PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
5.1 Bookings
- All bookings are subject to availability
- Advance bookings and prepayment may be required
5.2 Cancellation Policy
- Spa treatments and classes require a minimum of 12–24 hours’ notice
- Late cancellations or no-shows may incur full charges
5.3 Refund Policy
Refunds, where applicable:
- Will be processed within a reasonable period
- Are subject to stated conditions
Non-refundable items may include:
- Used packages
- Promotional or discounted purchases
6. MEMBERSHIPS AND PACKAGES
6.1 Validity
- Memberships and packages are non-transferable unless stated otherwise
- Expiry dates apply strictly
6.2 Early Termination
Refunds for unused portions (if applicable):
- Will be calculated on a fair-use basis
- May include administrative fees
6.3 Suspension
Membership suspension may be granted at management discretion, including for medical reasons.
7. FACILITY-SPECIFIC TERMS
7.1 Spa and Treatments
- Guests must arrive at least 15 minutes before appointments
- Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment time
- Treatments may be refused if deemed unsafe
7.2 Fitness Facilities
- Proper attire and footwear are required
- Equipment must be used responsibly
- Guests should not use equipment beyond their capability
7.3 Bathhouse (Hot and Cold Therapy)
Use is not recommended for individuals who are:
- Pregnant
- Under the influence of alcohol or medication
- Suffering from cardiovascular or respiratory conditions
Guests must:
- Shower before use
- Follow recommended exposure durations
7.4 Group Classes
- Pre-registration is required
- Late entry may not be permitted
- Missed sessions are non-refundable
7.5 Pool
- No lifeguard on duty unless stated
- Use is at your own risk
- Children must be supervised at all times
- No running, diving, or unsafe behaviour
7.6 Wellness Garden
- Guests must respect the environment and facilities
- No littering, damage, or unauthorised activities
8. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
8.1 Collection of Data
We may collect personal data including:
- Name and contact details
- Health declarations (where required)
- Booking and payment information
8.2 Purpose of Use
Personal data is used for:
- Service delivery and bookings
- Safety and emergency response
- Marketing and promotions (with consent)
8.3 Consent and Rights

You may:

- Request corrections
- Withdraw consent at any time

The Wellness Centre shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of income, opportunity, or enjoyment
Total liability, if applicable, shall be limited to the amount paid for the relevant service.
10. PERSONAL BELONGINGS
- Lockers are provided for convenience only
- The Wellness Centre is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal items
Guests are advised not to bring valuables.
11. CODE OF CONDUCT
Guests must:
- Behave respectfully towards staff and other guests
- Follow all safety and hygiene rules
The Wellness Centre reserves the right to:
- Remove guests without refund
- Deny future access
12. FORCE MAJEURE
The Wellness Centre shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters
- Government regulations
- Public health restrictions
13. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA
The Wellness Centre may capture images or videos for marketing purposes.
Guests who do not wish to be photographed must inform staff.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All branding, materials, and content belong to The Sama Wellness and may not be reproduced without consent.
15. AMENDMENTS
The Wellness Centre reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms will be published on the website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
16. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any disputes shall:
